Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our team will greet you and transfer you to a 4-star hotel. You will have time to rest and recover from your journey. In the evening, we will host a welcome dinner where you can meet the expedition team and fellow climbers. A briefing about the expedition will also be provided.

Expedition Preparation and Sightseeing in Kathmandu

Over the next two days, we will finalize preparations for the Cholatse Expedition. This includes gear checks, acquiring necessary permits, and meeting with your climbing guide and expedition leaders. We will also arrange a city tour of Kathmandu, visiting heritage sites such as Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath Temple, and Kathmandu Durbar Square.

Fly to Lukla (2,840m) and Trek to Manjo (2,835m) - 4/5 hours

Early morning, we take a thrilling 35-minute flight to Lukla. If flying from Ramechhap due to peak season, we will drive 4 hours to Ramechhap before the flight. From Lukla, we begin our trek, descending towards Phakding and continuing to Manjo. Along the way, we cross suspension bridges and walk through beautiful pine forests.
