Starting and ending at Kathmandu Airport, this adventure takes you from the cultural heart of Nepal to the tropical lowlands of Chitwan and then into the beautiful Himalayan foothills.
Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Chitwan, where you spend two nights experiencing the area’s rich wildlife and traditional Tharu culture. During your stay, enjoy an exciting jeep safari in Chitwan National Park, canoe trip, cycling through Tharu villages, and an evening cultural dance performance.
From Chitwan, travel by bus to Dumre, where the mountain biking adventure begins. Cycle from Dumre to the historic hilltop town of Bandipur, famous for its traditional architecture, peaceful atmosphere, local culture, and spectacular mountain views.
Continue cycling from Bandipur toward Pokhara, passing through beautiful countryside, villages, terraced farmland, forests, rivers, and Himalayan foothills. From Pokhara, ride toward Dhampus, a scenic mountain village offering wonderful views of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) ranges.
The adventure continues with a scenic mountain bike ride from Pokhara to Fishling/Rafting Point, following the beautiful river valleys and countryside of central Nepal.
From Fishling, a private jeep takes you back to Kathmandu. The final day of the adventure is dedicated to a Kathmandu Heritage Tour, where you discover Nepal’s rich history, art, architecture, Hindu and Buddhist traditions, and UNESCO-listed cultural heritage sites.

No. The tour combines mountain biking with road transportation. Kathmandu–Chitwan and Chitwan–Dumre are by road transportation, while the main adventure sections are completed by mountain bike. Fishling–Kathmandu is by private jeep.
You spend two nights in Chitwan, allowing enough time for wildlife, canoeing, cycling and Tharu cultural experiences.

Previous mountain biking experience is recommended, but you do not need to be an expert cyclist. You should be comfortable cycling several hours a day.

The tour is generally moderate, with a mixture of paved roads, rural roads, climbs and descents. Fitness and regular cycling practice before the trip are recommended.
A good-quality mountain bike or suitable hybrid bike with reliable brakes, appropriate tires and functioning gears is recommended.
Yes. You are welcome to bring your own mountain bike. We recommend having it fully serviced before arriving in Nepal.
Yes. Mountain bikes can be arranged for the tour. Please provide your height and preferred specifications when booking.
Your guide carries basic repair tools and emergency spare items. Minor problems can normally be repaired on the route. More serious problems will be handled with available local support.
Comfortable tourist-standard hotels, lodges and guesthouses are used throughout the journey. Rooms are generally provided on a twin-sharing basis.
Breakfast is included throughout the tour, along with the welcome and farewell dinners. Lunch and other dinners are generally not included unless specifically mentioned.
Yes. The safari is conducted with experienced local operators and follows the applicable national park rules and safety procedures.
Bring a helmet, cycling gloves, padded shorts, suitable cycling clothes, sunglasses, water bottles/hydration pack, sunscreen, rain protection, personal medication and basic cycling accessories.
Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) are generally excellent seasons for this adventure. Winter is also pleasant in many lower-elevation areas. Monsoon brings more rain and potentially wet/slippery roads.
